There's no guarantee. I'll be the first to admit that. I am sure Michigan never thought RichRod would be gone after three years when he was hired. Sometimes it just doesn't work out.
Do I think we will try much harder to find a coach that can replicate Pearl's success (or heaven forbid do more) than Dickey did? Absolutely.
Good post. I too think Tennessee will try harder than it did with Dickey, I just don't think it will be as easy as some make it out to be. Even if they make a great hire (as Michigan thought they did with RichRod) there is no guarantee those results translate to wins and losses.
How is that remotely possible for me to answer?
I was just asking if 'you think' they definitely will. In other words, is it more probable than 'could'.
Trying hard is no guarantee.
