'11 MI WR DeAnthony Arnett - UT Commit

I’m as sure that Arnett will be a Spartan as I was with Thomas, Gholston, Baker and Norman. This is not just MSU butter I’m lathering up in. My information comes from Saginaw, MI and directly from the Arnett camp. Arnett does not want to play away from his friends/family, loves the system MSU runs and really loves a few of the MSU coaches. Arnett sees himself filling the roll of Mark Dell next year. The only reason he has not committed is so his rankings won't fall, like so many committed recruits.

Ouch, may be surprising to others if true, but I always considered him an MSU lean despite what others have said

Agreed. Even if he commits to us next week or whatever, I won't feel any more confident than I do right now.

Ima leave this alone until there is a presser. I don't care who is calling Vol Lock right now. It looks like he has spread his commitments to the far ends of the earth. Not saying insiders are wrong, it just looks like the deception is impossible to discern.

Can't take the rivals poster seriously. He may be posting total BS or just stuff he reads on the MSU forums. Anyone of us could go post the signs in our favor on the site.

At the end of the day, we know we are definitely in it, are looking good, and well just have to wait for his announcement. It's going to be a bit of a wild ride until then like all top prospects, that's the fun in recruiting.

He thinks it's funny how everyone hangs on every word on twitter and facebook and he has stated that he likes to put stuff out there just to throw people off. This is like at the end of the fireworks celebration... You got the big hearts goin off with arrows flyin' through. You got the dang waterfall effect thing coming off the bridge. You got about 40 of the big spread out things in the sky, and then suddenly they blow off about 128 of those freakin' loud flashes of light that go off like bombs all while playing "That's the Way it Is" by Celine Dion. It is just the finale for Arnett and he is setting it off for fun. Shoot, on his twitter he has given about 3 announcement dates in the last 24 hours. You have to love the comedy.

I bet that joker has 5 hats on the table: Baylor, SMU, New Mexico State, William & Mary, and USC. He'll pick up each one, one by one, try it on, discard it and begin to strip of t-shirts revealing Michigan State, Boise State, Cal, and finally a big V,B tattooed on the chest. That's the way I'd roll. :rock:

Snap! I tried to Californianize it with a little Celine Dion mixed in there for his sake. We all know Boomsday would be none other than Lee Greenwood! :dance:

Arnett's brother's friend's 2nd cousin told me the he is committing to Boise State on December 3rd at 11:38 AM.

Book it.

Does anyone feel this kid is a make or break for this recruiting class? I love the fact Dooley is recruiting for need. This is a very short handed program, if DA comes here, hell I'll helpo him move in, if not wish him well and lets move on.

So with that said, do we have any SOLID news about this kid?

Arnett is'nt a make or break for this recruiting class. I'd love to add Arnett because he would start in the slot from day 1 IMO but Couch & Wright are the make or breaks.

There is no solid news, he is messing with every fanbase right now. One minute it's USC, the next it's MSU, so forth & so on.

Hubbs, LV, & JB all feel great about our chances with Arnett so I'm putting my money on them.
