I did think it was impressive that he committed to Tennessee the week after taking his visit to South Carolina.

According to one guy, no. Scout, ESPN and rivals all have him committed. All that matters is what our coaches are aware of.

GVX quotes him calling UT to commit, saying that he's canceling other OVs. Sounds like a done deal to me.

Article on TOS has an interview with him. He says he was all TN, and wanted to committ so he did. Later this evening, his dad told him to wait until taking his visit since he hasn't even visited TN yet. He said he will take his visit in November then make his final choice shortly thereafter.

To me looks like this kid is pretty sure, just his dad wanting him to go through the process.
