What saved Crowell...let's get him
Y'all don't get your hopes up on Crowell. I'll be very shocked if he doesn't sign with Bama. And if it's not Bama, it'll be UGA. I really would like to see UT get a really good RB though. What other RBs is UT pursuing?

Poole is better right now than Brown. Brown will eventually be better than Poole but not if he wastes his talent or cant shake injury.

EEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh.....................I'm not sure you could say that. Pure talent-wise I think you gotta give it to Bryce, but add in the drive and desire to be the best and it would appear that Poole has him beat good.

You'll have to ask LV, he's on top of everything. I'm just a casual follower of recruiting at this time of the year

yea Poole is gonna be good. He's runs strong. Runs like Travis Henry. Hope he's as good.

That's what govol14 said. Hmmm, people act like try don't like him then go and say the same things as him. Lol

We've got Tom Smith, he'll end up being a 4 star.

We are in a good position with Justice Hayes as well.

Bryant talked to his mom 3 or 4 days ago and she said the Vols are definitely not out of it and that he is taking an unofficial here.

tifwiw

Well, by "not out of it" she means he's really got a top 8 or so still.... however he said his 4 favorites were UGA, Bama, FSU, and Clemson. I'd probably assume we're 5th.. maybe sneaking into 4th???

He's the best RB available and probably better than Bryce Brown when it comes down to it. I just think he'd fill in nicely when BB leaves.

Unfortunately, UGA and Bama are gonna be tough to beat as you well know.

Why people always do that to him? What really has he done they provoke him on purpose and gang up on him. He brings some of the best info to vq.

He talks about how bad of coach Dooley and staff are going to be and it's cuz CDDt told him and his nephew to GTFO of his office.

And he talks about how stupid the staff is for not offering these no name guys from TN.

I just went and did a quick look at Hayes. I bet he'll be an excellent downhill RB once he's beefed up some. He's exactly what I meant in my earlier post when I mentioned that there's always some good sleepers out there. Just got to find 'em and get on 'em early. Hope y'all get him.

You really believe Crowell is probably better than Brown? Do you think the talent is that much better in high school from 2 years ago that the #17 rated player in America this year is better than the #1 rated player in 2009? I don't know about that..

Maybe it is just me, but it seems like people forget so easily about what Brown did last year and what kind of running back he is..I never heard any complaints about him during the season, but right after talks of a transfer everybody starts on about he wasn't that good anyway and overrated. I really don't know what people expected out of him

I certainly believe Crowell is better, and that's not a knock on Bryce. Crowell just plays against MUCH better competition.

Okay 1st people have always said Dooley and the staff are going to be bad. 2nd Tennessee does have a history of letting no names get away then come back and dominate in college.

U probably havent been around these parts, there were quite a few, myself included, who have not been and never were impressed with BB.

Ohh I see. So what were you expecting of him? To unplant Hardesty as the starter and rush for 1000 yards as a freshmen?

Since when did GA high school football become better competition than the SEC?

Fair point, I was looking at it from when Bryce was coming out of high school.

Again, Bryce is a very good RB, but I think Crowell is better.

his vision is limited, he misses holes and did not read blocks well.

classic run by Bryce him catching a swing vs UCLA, and needed a yard to get the 1st and he decided to do a spin move on the CB instead of just lowering his head and burying him.

Instincts arent developed as a RB with time, u either have it or u dont.

now relax just cus people dont agree with you doesnt mean we expected a Jamal Lewis Freshman season from him.

i think he is talking about kansas

Oh I know what you mean man and I agree..Georgia HS talent is far superior to Kansas HS talent. But who they played in high school has nothing to do with who the better running back is right now.

I can see you MAYBE stating Crowell has more potential and will eventually be better than Brown, but I think it's kinda crazy to say a high school running back right now is better than someone who rushed for almost 500 yards as a freshmen against the best defenses in the country.

they are comparing Crowell out of HS to Bryce out of HS, not to Bryce a Sophmore in college.
