I agree. He has been to campus twice in the past month now on his own dime and has said publicly that he has the best relationship with Chuck Smith. Recruiting=relationships. I am not calling him a lock, but I do think he is all vol come NSD.

On rivals he says everyone in his top 4 (Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee) is dead even after his trips to Athens and Knoxville. Then on Scout he says Tennessee has moved into his top 5 along with AU, UA, Uga, and Florida and that Alabama has a slight lead over Auburn and Georgia in his top group followed by Tennessee and Florida.

I think that's the point, to keep people guessing. This guy is just going to enjoy the recruiting ride.

BAMA thinks they lead for everyone. Immediately dismiss their mods say if that is the source. 5 to 6 months ago I doubt UT was even on this kids radar.... We have made up a ton of ground. Still a long way to go.

We've been saying that for about 4 years with DTs. The depth chart hasn't stopped the Sabans and Meyers of the world from getting elite players. No reason to think that's going to change now.

Agreed. He is enjoying the spotlight, I've said it before. With that said, he does like UT. I don't think he is "4th at best." That's crap. He has us even with 4 of 5 other schools.

Nuff said.

No, you guys are right. The former assistant DL coach for the Jets is going to be so much better at recruiting than the multiple national championship winners who coach our archrivals.

Sometimes i honestly think the Kiffinites want everything to go wrong. volwarrior and sgm come on here to only post garbage about everything. I think they want to be right about calling Dooley a failure so they hope these recruits choose other schools. Bash away.......

I'd be willing to bet that after a season or two he will be the top DL coach/recruiter.

the list of names CCS has worked with would rival any college coach. He's young in the recruiting game but his resume speaks for itself to any HS kid willing to listen

What is it about UT that has these DT's Staying away from us? If I had the opportunity to play early in a needs position I would be beating the doors down.

With Orgeron things were improving, and with Smith things will improve on the D-Line. After a year or two, both will be considered Elite D-Line coaches. I just don’t don’t get the obsession over him when he is yet to land a single commitment.
