I don't know because I'm to young to have seen most of the better ones, but from what I've heard and videos I've seen.

Willie Gault...?

no Pickens, McGee, Morgan, etc? I guess the OP is fine if we just include the last 10 yrs

I'm 34....in my time I'd have to say Carl Pickens.

Then I'd have to go with Peerless 2nd....only because of this clutch catch to secure our 1998 National Championship.

im talking about recievers at tennessee. Not in the nfl. Carl pickens isnt in the discussion for what he did at the reciever position in college.

if you're saying Pickens isn't in the discussion then we might as well delete this thread

no McGee, no Morgan.

Pickens put up some incredible numbers on a running football team that could cram it down your throat, as did McGee.

Was Peerless even an AA?

Any NFL or College coach would take Carl Pickens, hands-down, over Meachem, Price, Kent, Nash, Etc.

Without a question.
Can you tell us how old you are BigOrangePassion?

In addition - Pickens was a two-position star. His stats rival those (and are generally better) of Charles Woodson's when Woodson won the Heisman.

Carl pickens was amazing during his time at UT....Why would u say that??? I know he did great things returning kicks and punts and even started off as a DB but he was in a class by himself at WR. My personal favorite was Joey Kent! and then probably Meachem. I also think despite turning out to be a total screw up in life, i feel Donte Stallworth should at least be in the conversation also

Meachem is seriously the only guy in the debate and his biggest plays were busted tackle hitches from Ainge because we were scared to go down the field, but threw it 40 times per night.

Stallworth? He was more combine hype than great receiver.

PP wasn't even all-SEC according to UTsports

and I have to say McGee was one of my favorites since he's one of the first greats I really remember. Got to meet him at the UGA game and he very cool

ok robert meachem put up 2/3 of pickens career stats in just his junior year. But believe what you want. I made it clear from the beginning that i thought it was between price and meachem but if you thought it was someone else to feel free.
