It's a damn shame one guy can waste the hard work of so many.

3 missed, 2 blocked- We win with a kicker worth a damn.

Oh well, come on down Palardy.

Hat I don't disagree with much of what you say... but Lincoln didn't let Mt. Cody through twice. Cory Sullins couldn't block anyone...

Both kicks were very low.... Neither one should have been blocked, if he kicked them like he should. He kicks low, and this is the result.

First one was on Lincoln. The second one looked like he hit it OK and Cody just blew up the middle of the line.

There is no excuse for kicking the ball into the arm pit of a 400 pound man with a 10 inch vertical leap once, let alone twice. I lay the blame solely on Lincoln for both kicks. He also sissy footed that 47 yarder that would have also won the game.

Actually, I'd say this...
Daniel Lincoln=Jonathan Crompton, V. 2.0

He's the fall guy for every error on special teams. Regardless of how damn terrible a couple walk-ons can be, they will not be held accountable. They have 1 job, and that's keeping the hogmollies in front of them.

Exactly. Hell, I could probably shed a Cory Sullins "block." No wonder Cody got through the line so easily. Lincoln could have kicked the last one to the stratosphere and it still would have been blocked.

Is it me, or is he taking too much time to kick it?

I know his kicks are flat, but being slow, magnifies it.

We didn't block well either.

First one is on Lincoln. No lift.
Second one is on the OL. Lincoln got decent (not great) lift.
How that line doesn't reach way the hell down and pull out a stone wall is beyond me. If all the OL SRs. couldn't muster up one play to pull their signature win (against BAMA no less), then the fact of the matter is UT just plain choked.

"Can't coach with these players... can't win with 'em... can't do it... I want winners here!!!!"

Who's to blame for the fact he can't get the ball to the uprights from 47 yards out?

He can, he just didn't.

This is where getting Palardy will be huge. But letting Cody get through the line so easily on the last kick is inexcusable; I don't care how big Cody is.
