Yeah. I'm not either. I've never ever been in trouble with the law, but if somebody smarts off to me I might say something back.

I wasn't declaring that I thought the story was false, I was merely commenting on how incredibly vicious the story is.

I've known that kid and his family since the mid 90s.

If I ever laid a hand on that kid his mother would chop my nuts off with a rusty butter knife.

Granted he's a grown man now and who knows what the circumstances were, but if he was with his parents following the game I have no doubt he was not the aggressor here.

Nope. When I was going to BYU, I decided to never go to the Utah game cause I knew I would probably end up in a fight. They're way worse than anybody I've seen in the SEC. I'd still be hesitant to go to Florida. I don't think I would fight, but I probably wouldn't enjoy myself.

Check out the comments. They are proud of this, saying it was justified by Kiffin's bragging. How typically classless of the gators.

I kind of feel for that lady, because I know what it's like to be embarrassed by fans who share a team with you.
I once saw three Tennessee fans almost attack an older couple wearing Crimson as we were walking into the Tennessee/Alabama game. The couple had to be pushing 75, and the three fans in orange got right in their faces and SCREAMED obscenities. I was ashamed to see that we have fans just like everyone else in the conference...and Clemson and UNC.

I want to bash the Gator Nation about this, but I've seen much of the same type from "fans" in Knoxville, Baton Rouge, Tuscaloosa, anywhere really. It's a shame it comes down to things like this, but when blood runs thin these things happen. I was glad to see other Gator Fans came to his aid, and on behalf of Volnation thank you.

They are not a real SEC school when it comes to southern mentality. Most students are northern rich kids that have houses in Miami and claim that house as their own to get in for cheap. When I went down 2 years ago they are all new jersey shore guidos. They are terrible. The white trash you see are not graduates but just backwoods florida folk. All in all they are trash and now that they are winning they think they are untouchable. cant wait til they get here next year. Its an end to the era and a beginning of our dominance.

Hmm, not how I'd imagine a BYU game. I guess mormonism doesn't transcent football eh?

Can we post this link in the thread on the Gator Board where they were appalled at one of our coaches grabbing a sign from a fan and pushing for legal action and how horrible that was?

It's more the Utah side. They call the game the Holy War, even though Utah is a state school. That tells you right there Utah is defined by being the anti-BYU. They hate BYU so much it's as if they care more about seeing BYU lose than seeing Utah win.

One person has left a comment to the article and it says;

"Serves them right for hiring that loud mouthed coach of theirs. We may not have beat down their team like we should have, but at least we beat up their fans after the game! Go Gators!"

The stupidity is unreal. A fan and a father deserves to get beat up because the AD hired Lane Kiffin. I get it....
