im just saying that if the fans do start singing rocky top then its gonna piss people off, throw smug arrogance in with alcohol combined with pissed off folks then you never know whats gonna happen, besides with the classlessness of most of the folks in gainesville, it wouldnt surprise me. Then again i guess when you only have been relevent for the past 16, 17 years then its expected i reckon

I've attended the Cocktail Party in Jax since 1984, and I've seen it all, good bad and ugly from both sides. I just didn't see WWIII breaking out outside the stadium because UGA did their little stomp in '07.

Rocky Top oh Rocky Top will be be bellowing on each and every score for the Mighty Gator's...............it will be a long night and by the end of the game (the few Vol's that will remain the stands) they will be turning themselves into doing the Gator Chomp and become real team believers!

you gator fans seemed to get all pissy real quick when Coach Kiffin started calling out your saint. Even when he said the comment about singing rocky top all night long when we beat yall this year. What happened did yall put your tampons in the wrong hole again?

The difference being we'll get pissed, then settle it on the field, not in the stands or outside the stadium when an opposing fans hurts your little feelings.

Being pissed, and being pissed to the point where you want to throw at a rival fan are two different things.

If UF fans sing Rocky Top on Saturday, UT fans will have no recourse but to sit there and take it. Why? Because you'll be outnumbered at least 10-to-1, and at the end of the day deep down you know it's exactly what you deserve for Kiffin opening his mouth to begin with.

Maybe your in that 5%, but to be honest with you, I could care f...in less about Bear Bryant. And no, I am glad you got Tebow, because we wouldnt have Coach Saban if Tebow came to Bama.. Think about it.. Coach Shula could recruit, but his coaching abilities were no greater than that of a pee wee coach.

It's no less stupid than your assumption that virtually all fans worship Tebow. You're blinded by your own argument.

UF won it's last two national titles with defense, and if we're lucky enough to play for another our defense will be the reason moreso than Tebow.

Hearing about him in the media and worshiping him are two different things genius.

He's a great QB, and if all goes to plan he'll go down as one of the greatest ever in college football, but the fact is he's had some exceptional playmakers (Harvin and a VERY underrated Louis Murphy), in addition to some of the best defensive units UF's ever had, not to mention one of the NCAA's best kickoff and punt returners.

I know you WISH everything you thought was true, but sorry, it isn't.

I didnt say all. I said 95%. Get it right. Actually i never tried to argue. I simply stated to take out Tebow and all would have a meltdown. Then you come back and say that Im still bitter because UF got Tebow. I said no, I actually like tebow, you said something about bear bryant, i said i dont care, then you come back with this.

And no.. your defense wouldnt be what it is without Tebow. He is the only guy I know that can be a leader on defense and not even play. How many times have you seen him get the D pumped up before going on the field. your D is good, but it would not be what it is without Tebow. Sorry

You're giving Tebow more credit for leading UF's defense than Charlie Strong and Brandon Spikes? That's possibly the dumbest thing I've heard here today, and GaSouthern's been logged in all morning.

Sounds like you worship Tebow more than you claim UF fans do. Worst case you're giving him far too much credit for something he has little direct effect on.

While its obvious that Tebow has gotten a lot more free press, as it were, I see no value to pointing that out. Doesn't mean he's any better or Berry any worse.

In fact, in my mind, they are such different players with different skills playing different positions, its a bit like comparing a priceless coin to a top of the line Jaguar. They are each incredibly valuable for what they are, but you can't compare them.
