Been a Vol for my whole life and yesterday was my first in Neyland ever. I loved every minute of it....Tailgated, went to the Vol Walk. Took it all in. Just lacking one thing....A WIN! I still enjoyed myself greatly. I sat in the nosebleeds, but could see the entire field and every player on it. Had UCLA fans sitting behind me. Let's just say UCLA fans said we are a quarterback away from being a great team. While I am not blaming it entirely on JC, there were many times he missed open receivers by not seeing them, overthrowing them, or throwing behind them. I expect more from him being a senior, supposedly a leader on the team. People question the play calling. We didnt run enough last year, we ran too much this year. Well, neither year the pass worked! I don't blame CLK for running the rock. The line was terrible, and our qb was terribly inaccurate. Defense was excellent. To continually play with our backs to the wall and only give up field goals to the nations best place kicker is outstanding. JC looked as though he was shook the entire game. There were times when UCLA put 8 or 9 in the box and we couldn't run or pass. Shout out to Montario for a great game because he held on to the ball and ran tough. I feel strongly we could have hit them with a couple screens and scored. But we will never know. Despite the L, UCLA knows they have been to Rocky Top. We hit em hard! We need to open up the O Line and QB positions in practice this week. Despite the L, couldn't have seen a better game........Hard hitting, down to the wire. Go Vols.....beat those Gators.
