I might be finding out about used values on these newer Tundras soon. I've got a '25 Tundra Crewmax with the TRD Rally package and I'm thinking about moving on. I had a Titan and bought this as a second truck for my wife to drive for a while and planned to give my son my Titan. Wife ended up with a new job with a longer commute, so I let the Titan go to get her something better on gas and took over the Tundra. It's fine, but I miss my Titan.
Curious what you like about the Titan over the Tundra. I have the platinum model, so I like the creature comforts. Probably different than the TRD with a different suspension setup.

I’ll say, city gas mileage still ain’t great even with the V6. I can get 22 on the highway tho.

Was Tee great? No. However, he WAS the starting QB for the only team I have ever seen win a National Championship. No matter anything else, I will always love him for that.

With that said, whatever he was or wasn't as a QB, the dude made A LOT of plays as that starting QB, in many games. The touchdown to Peerless in the National Title game, to this day, is the prettiest throw I have ever seen a Vol make...while slipping on the dropback, on the plant.

Happy Birthday, 17!

I thought the boat launched on a shippy after Manning left. Pretty much shocked all season long that we just kept on winning.

The seats and seating position were more comfortable in the Titan. I also just liked the slightly stiffer steering and more responsive throttle in the Titan. It felt more like what I'm used to in a truck. The Tundra also has a shorter windshield that's taken some getting used to. It's not a bad truck at all, but it's a bigger departure from the Titan than what I was expecting and it really stood out after my first long road trip in it. Since they don't make the Titan anymore, I'm thinking about test driving a Ram 1500 Rebel...something I thought I'd never consider.

So, the plan seems to be such that the Football Vols may not be as active in the portal as I first thought. They like their young players and want to keep most of them from leaving. The idea being they want them to develop under Owings... be a much more athletic version of Indiana.

Sounds good to me.

Wow. At your age, that's the only National Championship game you've ever watched?

I think they're gonna target positions like OL & DL in the portal. More so OL or maybe if they can get their hands on a special skills player like Thornton or Brazzell in the portal. I think you're right though. Adding Owings let's them trust their HS evaluations and development more.
