I like Lsu over Vandy by 14. Even though the 3rd and Chavis is a factor, Vandy has no offense at all.

He was an ace recruiter and excellent coach long before he joined forces with Monte or O. He doesn't need a gimmick sales pitch but thanks for playing.

Gran and CEO are in the top 25 for the top recruiters in the country. I hope Gran sticks around for a long time to come.

They have us ranked 12th currently (only Bray included), but they haven't factored in the new 4*s for Ted Meline, John Brown, and Bruce Irvin. So basically, sometime tomorrow we'll be moving up again! :rock:

Two more 4*'s this week should move us up coupled with the JUCO rankings. I'd say we're 9th or 10th easy.

Okay, now think about this. This puts DeMarco Cobbs in a bind. We have Kenny Stills coming in this weekend for a visit. Kenny Stills is the #20 WR in the country, he's a 4 star.

DeMarco think about this....what if you hold off until next week, and Stills comes this week and commits on the spot? Suddenly, we have 4 WRs, and you're not one of them. We may not take you as a WR.

Now, keep in mind, Cobbs, being an athlete, can probably play at another position, and Meline is reported to also play safety. But I'm just saying...don't be surprised if we see a commitment from Cobbs just to make sure he gets in on the game. Stills isn't a bad choice at all, and shoot, I hope we can take them both.

2. Cam Newton (ranked 6 in Juco)
3. John Cullen
4. Damien Robinson
5. Jeff Luc
6. Cody Riggs
7. LaMarcus Joyner

10. Kenny Stills

haha, I'd say you wouldn't. I'd trade Leifheit for Curry and Riggs for Riley to make my dream class...

Joyner I do not see us getting (FSU). But Dietrich Riley I think will be a Vol. I think instead of the laptop stealer (who I was very interested in myself based on his measurables) we will end up taking another linebacker like Shirley.

If we need a space for Dyer, or while we are dreaming R Powell, we can always let our lowest ranked guys find another school. If we get Cullen, Stone and Leifheit, Pair will be alot less important on our board.

Meline is a great pickup. He has unbelievable speed and athleticism to go along with very good size.

I think it is a great pickup and well worth the risk (grade questions).

Teague? Really?

Teague was our best WR Saturday (6 catches for 86 yards and a TD)...

Nuke got all the pub but Teague is the frosh WR that's really stepping up...

I say Meline at DB so we still have room to take Cobbs at WR

:stop:Guys is this the WR we really wanted? I mean iv never herd of this guy talked about much until last night and today. The guy we wanted on this forum was Cobbs. Now that Meline is a vol we talk that he is a great pick up. When for the past two weeks all that we wanted was cobbs and definitely not this guy. In sure hes gonna be great though. Cobbs has 84 pages of us talking about him and Meline has 10 or 11 depending on which thread you look at.

should not affect cobbs since meline can play db.
