Providing a place for social media hunter-gatherers to post and have their efforts praised by a grateful tribe.
Also providing a place for those who don't follow social media to mooch off of those who do.

And also, a probably too early thread that will have been long forgotten and disappeared down the list by the time players actually start arriving.

Ultimately, a thread that allows someone with no actual information to offer, to feel like he's made some kind of vague contribution. ;)

Yep. We are becalmed in the offseason doldrums, sun beating down, water running low, looking around desperately for salvation. But, really, that desperate?
Well, we are a community of sorts and I can understand the curiosity about where a formerly high profile member (of the crazy uncle variety) has gone.

Similar questions have been asked about DarthVol. I will conjecture that some of us have here a love-hate relationship to these controversial posters, including the now MIA, KnoxLikeUs, because they do add some "spice" to the discourse but then their shtick becomes repetitive and grating.

A line from a great film Seven Psychopaths captures this dynamic as Christopher Walken's character Hans says to Colin Farell's "Marty" , a writer working on a screenplay about psychopaths:

"You're the one thought psychopaths were so interesting, but they're kinda tiresome after awhile, don't you think?"

2026-27 Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball Roster & Potential Scoring Outlook

Tennessee’s 2026-27 roster blends returning SEC talent with a strong incoming class, aiming to rebuild after losing all eight potential returners from the prior season Rocky Top Insider. Here’s the official roster and a projected scoring per game based on 2025-26 stats and player profiles University of Tennessee Athletics+1.
Projected Scoring Per Game (per 36 minutes)
JerseyNamePositionHeightClass2025-26 PPGProjected 2026-27 PPG
0Kaylene SmikleG6'0"R-Sr.13.1~14–16
1Avery MillsG5'9"Jr.15.3~16–18
2Harissoum CoulibalyG5'10"So.10.4~11–13
4Gabby MinusG/F6'1"Fr.~8–10
8Zhen CraftF6'2"So.5.7~6–8
9Shaelyn SteeleG5'6"Jr.~5–7
10Jada EadsG5'7"Jr.~5–6
11Irene OboavwoduoG5'10"Fr.~4–5
14Rylie TheuerkaufG5'9"Sr.11.9~12–14
15Harper PetersonF6'3"R-So.1.1~3–5
21Riley MakaluskyF6'2"Sr.~7–9
25Naomi WhiteG5'9"R-So.20.8~20–22
31Aaliyah MooreF6'1"R-Sr.~6–8
35Kennedy FauntleroyG5'7"R-Sr.~4–6
44Fatamata JannehF6'2"Sr.11.4~11–13
Key Notes:
  • Naomi White (Northern Arizona) is the biggest scoring threat, with 20.8 PPG last season and a strong 2026-27 projection Rocky Top Insider.
  • Avery Mills and Kaylene Smikle are both experienced scorers, with Mills adding 15.3 PPG last year Rocky Top Insider.
  • Fatamata Janneh (Texas A&M) brings rebounding and scoring potential, averaging 11.4 PPG and 9.7 rebounds last season Rocky Top Insider.
  • Riley Makalusky (West Virginia) is a high-upside freshman forward; her scoring will likely develop over the season.
  • Several freshmen (Minus, Steele, Eads, Oboavwoduo, Moore, Fauntleroy) are unproven scorers; their production will depend on development and minutes.
  • Harper Peterson is a low-scoring but high-rebound forward; her scoring will likely be modest.
Overall Projection:
If all projected scoring holds, Tennessee’s 2026-27 team could average ~18–20 PPG from starters, with White and Mills as primary offensive engines, supported by Smikle, Janneh, and Makalusky. The roster’s mix of experienced scorers and developing talent offers a balanced offensive attack, though depth and minutes for freshmen will be key to success.

AI projects our top scorer to be White, followed by Mills and Smikle. Looks like the next two Rylie, Janneh and Harissoum are projected as double digit scorers as well. Low expectations for Irene O., Fauntleroy, Eads, and Steele. If the percentages are right I would totally be willing to accept these projections as this would be a team that had a big winning season. Having six double digit scorers and two more just on the outside would be outstanding. Hopefully we will see something close to this next season.

If everybody hits the low end of those projections they'll average 130+ ppg. I'll go out on a limb and guess that's a little high

Yes it is based on every player playing 36 minutes so it would need to be adjusted for the minutes they actually played. I think anything above 80 points a game would be outstanding.
