I’m with you on John Wayne.
I’ll definitely watch a John Wayne flick, but…

Now Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Yul Brenner, are a different story.
I like Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson and Steve McQueen too.

I read that Lee Marvin was a real billy badass in life. I loved him in the movie
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. .... Google Search among others he was in.

I don’t believe this at all, because I was told numerous times today in the game thread, that ECU is a garbage team/program.

No imagination & no originality is why you get Part 2 of a movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy part 2.

There are way worse than Guardians. At least they have decent music. Predator comes to mind. Then Alien vs Predator or Predator vs predator. Then we can get into the "remakes" which are deemed more appropriate for today's audiences. I grew up loving superhero comics. With these movies, I don't know what the hades I'm watching. Hollywood is a total fuster cluck these days. Thank goodness for the classics and TV Land. Oh and I really get into the classic sci-fi genre. Forbidden Planet, Journey to the Center of the Earth, etc....that kind of stuff.

He was. Another guy I admired was Charles Bronson. Rough life gave him his persona. He and Marvin were great in the dirty dozen. Great flick with real star power.

That's why the refs in the SECCG escorted (-3 yards rushing total) Bama down the field with multiple penalties to get them on the board.

And that's why DeBoer kicked a FG when he was was being shut out in the second half of the Indiana game last year instead of going for it on 4th down. Bama would have been at the top of that list, above KY and Vandy.

I like Vandy's result.

Each Saturday night in the 1950s I watched Gunsmoke before bedtime.
