I followed the Lake Fork of the Gunnison all the way from Lake City to Blue Mesa back in 2020...OMG that was a beautiful drive. There were dozens of fly fishermen down on the river. I knew it must be a big time trout fishery to be that busy...it was crazy.

Absolutely killed it on Blue Mesa today. Will be coming back. Only fished 2 hours because a freak thunderstorm rolled over the mountain and we had to book it back. Went from slick calm to 3ft rollers in 5 minutes.
