Yep, they basically give the bottom teams a slightly easier schedule compared to the other teams in the same division

I think that plus the draft order is supposed to help spread around at least the Wild Card berths. I don't really follow it anymore, just the clips and talk I see here and in the RF.

Injured reverse / retired is a special designation in the NFL that means if the player reactivates in the future, the team retains rights to the player. So "retiring" is not as weird as it sounds. Squirrel left the Bears' practice field accompanied by two trainers on Saturday.

Kids are still making a big deal out of a commitment? HS recruiting isn't moving the needle so much anymore. The only board I visit less than recruiting these days is the LV forum and I don't go there at all. Used to live for recruiting, but now I just focus on the portal threads. Such a shame. Used to be a lot of fun and drama. Now it's not even an afterthought with me. Hate what they did to the college game.
