Way too early offseason thread, but figured this belings there. Why not get it going?

IDK if this is possible or if the parties would agree to it, but some kind of trade(s) where maybe Jarett Allen goes to the Lakers, Spyda goes to the Nets, and Lebron does a farewell tour back in Cleveland as they do a mini rebuild around Mobley and Nets assets makes a lot of sense. Mobley could be doing a lot more Lebron-like stuff with the ball, so bring him in to teach him.

LeBron is a UFA after the season.

Rumor has it that OKC and Jazz are exploring a deal for the Jazz's pick, assuming they land around 4ish. It makes a lot of sense. If the Jazz can't get Dybantsa, expediting the rebuild is going to be very attractive. OKC is going to have $ problems to solve very soon, and consolidating $ obligations into a future superstar who won't get a max contract for 5 years is a great way to solve those problems.

I would expect the Jazz to get back Mitchell or J Will as the centerpiece. Maybe something with Cason Wallace, but they're going to try to keep him, I think.

Jazz won their coin toss tie-breaker and are guaranteed to keep their draft pick now.

IMO. After these playoffs end and Free Agency begins. LBJ ends up either back in Cleveland or with Golden State...

Now that I've put some thought into the new lottery proposal...

I don't like the incentives with the play-in teams, and the fact that you can have the worst record and fall to 12....we could conceivably have small market franchises who are bad for many years and never get a top 5 pick.

It is utterly awful.

If you literally put fail safes (can't win back to back, can't have top 5 pick four straight years) and go back to pre-2019 lottery odds, everything would be fine.

The Jaylen Brown for Giannis trade suspicions make so much sense

I think Atlanta taking Brown and giving assets to Milwaukee is so easy to do.

I think Milwaukee would rather have Brown (unless we're talking top 4 pick this year) and C's would rather have Brown in Milwaukee.

Brutal for the Pacers. Absolutely brutal. I would not have traded 5 for Zubac

Yeah, did not pay off. We really needed this draft to make the east stronger and Pacers and Hawks both lost in the lottery.

So funny that the lottery gods favored big market teams Chicago and LAC over Indiana. Amazing
