FryeGuy’s minimum requirements to be division 1. ( no one is grandfathered)

(1) all sports should be at division 1 level
(2) must play football, basketball (both), baseball, and softball
(3) must grant all allowable scholarships in those core sports and all allowable coaches.
(4) permanent seating requirements for those core sports. Including 25k for football and 8k for basketball
(5) on campus student enrollment of at least 14k students
(6) significant average of paid ticket sales for a three year period
(7) must belong to a conference of at least 8 members who meet division 1 requirements in all sports
(8) All division 1 schools (including private) must release all payroll information as required by all public institutions
(9) at least 80% of all funding must come from ticket sales or athletic only donations. No significant funding athletics from student fees, tuition revenue, or school general endowments

(10) those that don’t meet requirements and are “relegated”, cannot petition to return for five school calendar years
 
Our bullpen is clearly “fragile” right now.

Guys that were can’t miss a few weeks ago or struggling with confidence.

The major thing going for is last in season is our team’s ability to play up our down to our opponent’s.

Vols losing series to LSU, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky is not excusable.

Conversely the way Vols played against Mississippi State, Alabama, and Georgia.

It won’t get much bigger than Texas and their first time in Knoxville.

Indeed but I see pitchers much like corners in football. You just have to have the mental fortitude to forget the last play/pitch and focus in on the one in front of you.

With him it might come with maturation? Hope so. Kid has the talent. It's all between the ears right now. I've seen this before and it's just brutal to fight thru.... especially younger guys.

Thats a really dang good list.

Has anyone done the work to see which schools would fall into that list?
