Thats a really dang good list.

Has anyone done the work to see which schools would fall into that list?

If you researched it, I would guess about 60 schools would meet the requirements.

Perhaps don't call it "Division 1" Do what the English Football Leagues and create something ABOVE Division 1. Call it the Collegiate Premier League perhaps.

It would give some P4 conferences a chance to trim some fat as well. Schools in the conference just collecting checks. Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Duke, etc

Not many schools would qualify for the CPL.

I don't think Boston College could get in.
Syracuse would
Rutgers (maybe?)

No BigEast- maybe UConn?
No Ivy League
No Villanova
No Temple
