Not only that, but honestly who brags to kids about their own (perceived) accomplishments? You ask children about their accomplishments and interests, not the other way around. I have no time for people who can vote for a character this flawed.

The idiots that still support Trump are fundamentally flawed characters to begin with. They look at Trump and they're like oh yeah... this is what I aspire to be.

It's a sad statement about the United States population. And frankly most of them have a high school degree or GED at best. To them Trump is a strong and smart man when the rest of the educated population realizes the exact opposite is true.

There's no fixing stupid.

So this is where we are.

Honestly, Iran's explanation makes more sense. Why would we stop our operation (after only 1 day) to keep Hormuz open if it were successful and maintainable?

We wouldn't.

We would actually continue the operation until the Iranians caved to our demands, not prior to them possibly, maybe agreeing to something in the future.

The INSA statement said Trump called off the operation “following firm positions and warnings from Iran.”

State-run Tasnim also hailed the move in a post on its Farsi-language account on X, describing it as: “Trump Backs Down.”

In his announcement suspending Project Freedom, Trump cited progress in diplomatic talks as a reason for pausing the program, which aimed to use US military assets to help guide commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
