The ACA has made millions of people lose their insurance and replaced it with crappy medicaid. It made the cost of healthcare skyrocket. Why did the politicians make themselves exempt if it so great? It was a power grab and an attempt by the government to take over a massive portion of the economy, that's all.
If you want to be a dictator, hold people's healthcare over their head or gin up a pandemic crisis.

Not sure how the renewable energy provisions in ARRA (2009) created crazy inflation. They were less than 5% of the total cost of the bill and ARRA was MUCH smaller in cost/deficit spending than OBBBA, TCJA, CARES, PPP, etc...

If they do that they are seriously screwed for a long time. The would be better served to just pump it out on the ground. You don't just turn the spigot off one day and turn it back on the next. There's not enough dry gas or Sta-Bil in the world to fix that.

We pumped a whole ton more money in 2017, 2020, and 2021 into the economy.

If you want to argue Biden's early posture towards energy+spending+ no coherent energy replacement policy until IRA caused energy inflation, I'd buy that. (Ukraine conflict as well). But a relatively nominal provision in financial crisis stimulus 13 years is a stretch...

And to be fair, IRA pretty much ended energy inflation under Biden. Id argue the excessive spending associated with IRA kept other forms of inflation historically high.

It is embarrassing how we are just being kicked around and manhandled by Iran. And we can't even stop one of the ships, it is business as usual for them. If something is not done we won't have a single soldier left and Iran very likely could invade the U.S. mainland. We're toast.

I misspoke I meant the stimulus packages, the attack on fossil fuel and increase in fuel prices was big factor in the inflation in 2021. The Biden administration used their self-inflicted inflation to pass the IRA Green New Scam.
