Again, the point of listing the articles is that these are all assets that we have available to use because of of our membership in NATO, and we utilized them a month ago, because the US has no alternative should it leave NATO.

We can only project power in the Middle-East because we have access to NATO resources in Europe. If we leave NATO, access to those resources goes away.

Tell me what NATO assets we used in the beginning? All those ball less Western Europeeons would not let us use our bases or their airspace. Screw ‘em.

Someone saying "death to america" has literally nothing to do with the requirements for invoking 'Article 5', but keep crying about NATO not stepping in to help clean up the mess we've made, it's a solid look for MAGA.

Lol why does it matter when the NATO asset was used, before or after we attacked Iran, we still utilized them, but RAF Fairford, and Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base have both been used by the US.

You seem to have no real concept of how US force projection works so far from the continental United States.

We've bypassed NATO, at great expense, in one conflict which isn't in NATO's real scope and which may or may not be near its conclusion. So jumping for joy and declaring NATO obsolete is misguided. For one thing, Russia's still there, still surly, and not afraid to stir the pot.
Going from American funding to European funding means the EU MIC gets that gravy and ours doesn't, and all the consequences of that.

We didn't even tell them what we were doing. That's because they would leak it to the Iranians. We projected our force just fine without them. You still haven't told me where we need NATO, they are worthless.

This makes no sense. What gravy? Let the Europeans deal with Russia, who cares if they take all of them. What would change? Would we lose allies? Who cares they are suck azzes and worthless. Show me where they are any benefit to us.

Iran hopes to avoid the risk of having to turn off the spigots and deepen its revenue losses, said Sanam Vakil, Middle East and North Africa program director at Chatham House, a nonpartisan London think tank.

“The shutdown will add pressure and motivate the negotiations,” Vakil said.

Russia is not experiencing anything like what Iran is going and will be going through. Heck a few years ago we had interest rates and inflation similar to Russia now.
