Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Which UDFA vol do we think has the best chance making their final 53?

I don’t know the nfl teams or rosters well enough to guess.

I think Kitselman might make the Lions just because Campbell is a former TE and the Lions TE room has had a lot of injuries the last year or so. Plus I’ve thought for a while that MK would be the type to surprise people end longer around the NFL for long enough to get a pension.

I have four in 214. Do you have the ballpark app? I can transfer them with your email for that app. I’ll check the price but I’ll hook you up. You will need parking as I didn't get parking.
I don’t have the ballpark app, but I can download it, if that makes it easier to transfer them. I will double check and make 100% sure they want to do it, and let you know. Thanks so much!

Need some advice:

I haven’t been back to neyland in some time but planning to take the family of 5 for the furman game.

Best place to buy tickets?

Best seats to try and get?

Any recommendations for where to stay? Park?

Thanks - sbv
Not sure where the best place to buy tickets is, since I usually use StubHub or Ticketmaster. I like to park at the First Horizon Parking Garage because I can get on I-40 quickly and avoid waiting in traffic. The downside is that it’s a bit of a walk, but it’s not bad. For seating, I usually get tickets in sections Z, W, or X.

NFL GMs talking to McCoy about bone plugs....

I hope he proves everyone in the league wrong and makes the Pro Bowl every year. Unfortunately he's with the Raiders, so if he does ball out we'll never hear about it. Bless his heart.
Jokes aside apparentlt if this one doesn't work - his career is over. Prayers for healing and recovery

Scripture — Lamentations 3:22–23 (NIV)
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Reflection
There is something steady and almost quiet about this passage. It doesn’t deny hardship—it sits right in the middle of it. Lamentations is written from a place of loss, disruption, and weight. And yet, right there, a different truth is spoken: not everything has been taken.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed.”
That line reframes everything. It suggests that what remains is not accidental. It is sustained. Held.

The mercy described here isn’t a one-time rescue. It’s daily. “New every morning.” Not stored up in advance. Not borrowed from yesterday. Given fresh, exactly when needed.
That has a different kind of implication. It means you don’t have to carry tomorrow’s weight today. It also means yesterday’s failures don’t define the supply you receive this morning.

The quiet invitation here is not to strive harder—but to recognize what’s already been provided. To begin again, not because everything is fixed, but because you are still being sustained.

Prayer
Lord, thank You that Your mercy is not something I have to earn or preserve. You renew it. Daily. When my mind runs ahead or lingers behind, bring me back to what You are providing right now. Help me receive this day without carrying unnecessary weight from yesterday or fear from tomorrow. Let Your faithfulness steady me, and teach me to trust that what You give is enough for where I am. Amen.
