4 Vols in the 1st round?

I don’t think McCoy was trying to deceive doctors lol. The tests came back and said the ACL is fine but a different part of his knee could be at risk.

I feel awful for him. I know people are mad he didn’t play last year but he didn’t do anything wrong.

Being cleared to play and being cleared to perform are very, very different scenarios. Especially if he’s still having lingering issues.
He did what he thought was best for him and his future NFL career. It is what it is.

He will get drafted. Too much potential to pass up on. But the NFL clearly views him as a high risk/high reward rookie. That comes at a price.

Had he he played when he could have last year, or had he participated in the combine, I think there’s a good chance he would’ve been a first round pick. Every decision has consequences and potential outcomes. Again, it is what it is.

Wish him well, and move on.

That's not money that can be used for NIL
True.

I’m not really sure how the SEC is further ahead in generating slightly greater average revenue, while the Big 10 has a much TV revenue stream. My concern is that the Big 10 is making more money off college football fans as a whole (since we all watch top 25 matchups across conferences), while the SEC has placed more burden on their own fans.

That’s the money we use to pay coaches, administrators, and upkeep/ improvement of facilities(?)

Either way, I don’t know why anyone would voluntarily give up an advantage to a competing brand.

From what I heard the issue was with his other knee. Is that correct?

Yeah I'm not shocked either. I didn't think he'd go as high as many where saying. I thought maaaaaaybe late but I was thinking day 2.
Titan fans on reddit seem to like the Tate pick or they have their blue tint shades on. I'm skeptical and probably would've gone another route.
I really like the Tate pick. I don't think he's elite but he's really good and pro ready. The kid catches everything and he's a great route runner. Cam needs weapons and he's a really good one. After Love went off the board he was my second choice, though I'm shocked we took him.

It’s a cartilage defect tried to repair with an implant that didn’t take. It’s why he had continuous swelling when practicing.
Basically already arthritis and not good. Posters talking out of their asses is nothing new.

There’s concerns McCoy is going to need another surgery apparently. (Something having to do with the bone plug?)

Someone in McCoy’s camp has given him bad advice
Not likely the main reason here. It’s being reported (on NFL Network at least) that there’s concern he’s apparently going to need another knee surgery.

The right advice - given that info - honestly might have been for him to just flat out sit out next season on top of what he missed in this last one.
