2026 Vols Transfer Portal Thread

Idk about ya’ll but I am salty as hell that Florida’s entire starting lineup is forgoing the draft to come back and play for that creep, meanwhile we have to sweat 2 players who should stay in school AND we’ll pay them whatever they want to do it. Maybe I’m being dramatic, but I am sick of always having one of our biggest rivals in our way.
I just saw this on 247 sports. $10 million reasons for Haugh to come back to Florida. Surely, this isn't true!

Halaifonua still has plenty of room to grow, and in a market where it reportedly cost Florida close to $10 million to bring back Thomas Haugh for his senior season, expect the former Georgetown star to land a hefty payday of his own.

To be the best, gotta beat the best. Whether that's Michigan, Florida, UConn, Duke, Michigan State, whoever. If anything, getting to play Florida and Arkansas and Alabama and etc during the regular season/conference tourny is nothing but a nice warm up for the teams we'll have to get past to lift a trophy.

Yes, I noticed this last night and suspected this was the intention.

Honestly, at this juncture and what we need him for, really like him.

Ngl, it would be a little weird seeing a Vol center dribbling into a jump shot in the paint area.

I would prefer that we got a center with more height and girth. I still have some BVS from going up against Mara and Edey.

It's going to be glorious when Golden leaves for GS when Kerr steps down.

I’m kinda concerned about our post players for next season ngl
it'll all depend how the guard and wing portal recruiting goes. Barnes and staff close with Juke, Ament, or both then they probably smartly used their money on wings/guards instead of overspending on bigs.

It all likely hinges on getting back 1 of Ament/Juke…they aren’t likely to add any big time pieces outside that, and they’ll wait around on those guys, if they miss on both it’ll likely be awhile and not many big time fallback options would be available. The pieces are in place assuming some depth bigs indeed are added that you’ve likely got another Top 15 team, but to jump up into that Top 6-10 range you’re gonna have to land 1 of Juke/Ament.

They may know on Ament this week. His stock they pretty much know on him. If his camp thinks he can be top 2 or 3 in 2027 he has a shot at returning. He is not in draft at all. If he does not even declare anything by Friday he is staying.

I think it probably makes more sense to wait until the roster is filled out for your exercise, but I agree. Once we can take an educated guess as to who plays where and how much, we can take a stab at offensive impact. And I do agree, Ames and Lundblade are likely to canabalize each other's minite and opportunities relative to what they averaged at their previous stops.
Cool. Yeah let's do that. I might write a script if I ever get the time.

Don't forget the round mound of rebound. Think he was 6'5". There's also the great Bill Russell. He was 6'9"/6'10". There's a lot of "want to" in playing great defense and rebounding rebounding.
Chuck was really 6'4 and a half, but was always listed at 6'6

I'm a regular on the Atlanta Falcons message board, which is an offshoot survivor of the one that got killed on AtlantaFalcons.com.

Two of the guys on that board, in their infinite wisdom, once hashed out an online argument in a Waffle House parking lot.

It got broken up by some Waffle House employees who looked actively disgusted by what weak fighters they were. Like, the cook and waiter were sad that one of the great joys of their job, parking lot brawls, was lessened by those two clumsy buffoons.
Thats Awesome!
