I look at it like this, we can hopefully get Juke and if Ament doesn’t come back then Freeman can take his spot.
I really hope our interest is high because he’s the real deal, just played on a bad team last season

Barnes also didn’t try hard to keep any players on his roster. Heupel had done really good players in his roster that he had to make sure and keep. Replacing 40 plus players vs replacing 11 isn’t the same.

Juke may not need a campus visit. He knows the area pretty well is my understanding from what’s been shared publicly. He was even at the 2022 Neyland win over Bama and rushed the field in a sea of Orange.

Gotta be Felix. I love JG, but we are set at guard and Felix is elite at a position where we'll need quality depth to really compete next March (and April).

Everyone's learning on the fly here. The success Barnes has had this year stems from learning from the mistakes we made last year. We're silent assassins this time.

And football is harder since it matters more. So, budgets can get torpedoed in the blink of an eye when one player at a position of need demands more. If we don't pay, we're scrambling to fill the void.

We're staying consistently relevant in football during unprecedented times. That's no small feat. Look at how much LSU just panicked as an example.

It ain't easy anywhere right now.

Alright question for you all: Let's say we were only guaranteed one of two things
1) Ament return
2) Freeman and Juke Harris

Which would you choose?
