I feel one thing really being overlooked with Hill is that almost 3:1 AST/TO Ratio. I think this boy can handle the lead guard spot and the staff knows it.

It's not enough for Rick either and we still have multiple roster spots. The whining about people wanting to win is bizarre behavior to me. Especially the post you responded to. He was being positive and happy.

I watch this board lose their minds every single transfer portal for every single sport every single year while completely ignoring the great players we have added because they aren't our fans "favorite" portal guys. I remember when Jermod McCoy committed, and it was completely glossed over because it wasn't everyone's favorite WR portal player.

It's unreasonable to say "despite the fact we have the #1 overall class, I won't be happy until we land the most prolific, most sought after scorer in the country (Harris), one of the best players in the country who isn't even in the portal (Tanner), and two more highly rated bigs". Which is what I've been reading 10 times a day every day for a week.

He was an 18 year old freshman a year ago lol. He really is that good - no reason to downplay his ability because he’s likely not coming here.

That’s not the reason, you’re making assumptions about my comment. Players sometimes ball out for a season and then go quiet, it happens. I like Tanner and wish him the best, but one season does not a career make. We’ll find out.
