I’ve looked at Rubin’s stats and I’m not impressed. Scoring efficiency isn’t great across play types, and while the assist rate is great too many turnovers come with them. I much prefer Hines.Compare Rubin’s numbers, both basic and advanced to Okpara’s…also, how are we going to possibly replace Boswell and Carey? See, that works both ways.
He’s listed on the first page…I have zero clue if he's on our radar...if any of Barnes' people are here lurking though...
Isaac Celiscar 6'6" 210lb SO from Yale he's played 61 games already and is exactly what we're losing in Bishop/Evans. A do it all type
13.2ppg, 6.3rpg, 3.2apg, 0.7spg shot 57.3% FG, 40.7% 3PT and 79.8% FT dude has a high motor and IQ perfect "glue" guy

Yeah... my "ideal" situation
You land at least 1 top 10-15 portal target so far Diop, Juke, Johnson, Cyril are all top 15 names we've came up with interest in (maybe others I missed too). Tanner is obviously a top 10 target if he enters.
Then if you land another 16-50 ranked portal player you're feeling pretty good. Hill Jr, Hines, Burton, Evans Jr, Wilkins, Tiller all in that zone.
So from an expectations standpoint...1 top 15 guys and then 1 top 50 guy and then any additional top 100 or so players = gravy
Lundblade is 65th right now
Rubin is 73rd right now
Dai Dai is 81st right now
2025 portal season Michigan did this...
Yaxel - 1st rated
Morez - 40th rated
Mara - 50th rated
Cadeau - 64th rated
85% FT? Won't that be refreshing! Juke and Ames can get to the basket while Lundy can contribute from outside. Kinda liking the way this picture is starting to look. Add Tanner with Henderson as a potential backup plus a rim protector and another economical outside threat....aw heck....fire up the money printer and just sign everyone.
1. The SOS is a major differentiator hereFor their careers…
