RIP Twitter

Idk, haven't heard of a 3rd party valuation since then. I assume it's gained a lot back.

When X merged with xAI in Spring 25, X was valued at 30B. When xAI had late 25 funding, the non X piece was valued at 200B and X at 30B (Total enterprise value of 230B). When merged with SpaceX in Feb 26, total enterprise value was 250B. Id suspect its 220B (non X) and 30B (X) given 10% increase in AI market valuations in past 60-90 days...

Got to do a tour of xAI facility in Memphis. It's pretty amazing and a little scary...

Wikipedia doesn't have a page on that Ted Glover. It's ranking 2nd for Steve-O because his Dad is a Ted Glover without a wiki page.

Polymarket posted this for engagement so that people like me would respond, "You guys are idiots. Wiki doesn't have a page for this." and then their post goes viral. They win. They're happy...but looks like most the engagement they got is actually the we don't understand how things work Musk circle jerk crowd.

I have no idea what your talking about?

They should keep their thoughts to themselves. Nice, now they can function at a higher level and enjoy a bit more of life... What about the people that can't afford games or a computer? I wonder what their thoughts are about this? Elon is the devil.

I'm not here to criticize Elon Musk for doing good business. I'm here to criticize Elon Musk for having an immense role in ruining American politics.

If I posted his political activities without explicit clues as to who I was talking about, you would have no idea if it were Elon Musk or George Soros.

He bought the 2024 election. He's in bed with the government. He bought the public square. He doesn't understand the basics of American civics and law. He's now explicitly an avowed, out-of-the-closet white nationalist (he openly supports remigration, which is the removal of all non-white immigrants and their ancestors).

When he was just the Tesla guy, I was a fan. But then he became the most politically powerful civilian of all-time and he used his power for complete BS. The Trump II admin has been an abject disaster, and Musk is a huge part of that. DOGE was an abject disaster.

But keep pretending like I'm here to hate on the advancement of technology just bc it's Musk.

Find the middle ground between riding chodes and derangement...on everything.

Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter may go down as the biggest bargain ever. What insight by Elon to purchase it when everyone said he was paying too much. Now X is the delivery method and testing ground for his Ai company xAi/Grok and that is part of SpaceX along with Starlink and other companies. It is estimated that SpaceX will receive a valuation of 1.5-1.75 trillion for it's IPO. Some in this thread will be eating crow after this but I doubt they admit they were completely wrong. One poster in particular may have extreme difficulty processing Elon's success with SpaceX/xAi/X(Formerly Twitter).

He tried his hardest to back out of the deal and committed fraud in the process. They contractually forced him to buy at a price that was too high, even if it did end up working out for him. Dumb luck again, for Musk. He wanted out of this winner.

Who will be eating crow over what? Completely wrong about what?

This scenario has played out a million x in this thread.

Us: Musk is actually making free speech worse on X. He hired people in DOGE who I do not trust with our data. He misrepresented DOGE's actions and victories. He is too cozy with the government. Etc.

Them: Musk added a chatbot to X and the valuation went up. You guys gonna walk everything back?

Us: Huh?

If you had invested $10,000 in Elon's Tesla "venture" at it's IPO is 2010 it would be worth $1.38 million today.
If you had invested $10,000 in Tesla 10 years ago it would be worth over $200,000 today
If you had invested $10,000 in Tesla 5 years ago it would be worth over $138,000 today
As for Twitter which is what your video is about, it is now the engine to deliver Grok and part of XAi which had a valuation of $250 million in February. XAi is now part of SpaceX which is estimated to be valued at 1.25 - 1.5 trillion after the IPO this year. Maybe everyone should invest in Elon's ventures going forward unless they don't like making returns far greater than the market. Looks like Elon found that untapped potential for Twitter now X after all. Sorry for the inconvenient truth.
