Here's the crazy thing, though: hiring Wade is no guarantee that LSU goes back to the days before the "strong a** offer".... the SEC that he would be walking into today is 1000x harder than it was when he got fired.

I’ve been higher on English than anyone I know. Even through December, I felt he would be a suitable Barnes successor.

Not sure that I can say that anymore, so I think that KE would be better suited assisting elsewhere. He’s not the heir apparent, and just won’t be realistically speaking.
