Coaching Rumors/ Openings Thread

Those questioning Schertz are allowing only his Indiana St and St Louis tenures to affect their opinion. He completely developed, raised, and sustained success at the highest levels of D2 basketball over a long period of time at LMU. With D2 resources and talent at his disposal, I think that is as important as anything he's done at either of his other stops. Having success in limited time at the other places just reinforces he can develop at a fast pace no matter where he lands, IMO.

Like Kim Caldwell. As usual, you wreck your argument with some blanket logic that kills the substance. He’s a great coach because it’s evident in how he uses talent, adjust to game situations, develops players and maintains a program and a culture. It doesn’t ALWAYS translate. But with him it would.
