Have you ever considered not speaking in hyper partisan hyperbole?
I've seen the dems elect communists to mayor and congressional positions. So no, its not hyperbole. It's that the new democrat party is no longer hiding their beliefs

You don't make a distinction between communist, socialist, and democratic socialist?

“I think Cuba, in its own way, tourism and everything else, it’s a beautiful island, great weather. They’re not in a hurricane zone, which is nice for a change, you know? They won’t be asking us for money for hurricanes every week,” Trump
said.

What?
he really needs to learn to appreciate the phrase "it is better to let people think you are a fool, than it is to open your mouth and confirm it"

They should be able to elect who represents their interests. If a bunch of idiots want a Communist enclave in the middle of nowhere, or heck even a city, let them have it. The issue is disempowering the feds so no particular dangerous ideology ends up impacting people all over.

Down here in Peru there are about 7 billion political parties (it seems) including single-issue and hyper-local. That's what we need in the US. It allows all kinds of things to be heard but better yet it grinds the national government to a halt when they can't get along.

What has happened during this last decade of turbulence in the federal government here? Local governments have been kicking ass and generally doing what's right for their people.

Except the history of the DSA includes marxists and hardcore communists who are part of the party. And their latest funding is linked to the CCP. Now get back to explaining why you were fooled about Ukraine blowing that pipeline

The American communists that went down there for a concert (taking electricity that caused the deaths of those in the hospital there) and then producing tik toks where they gawked and threw food at the poors like they were animals will never not be the perfect example of why socialism/communism fails every single time.

And the US government blocking oil deliveries that aided the mass power outages is all good for those people in the hospital? Who do you think caused more hospital deaths? Those commie TikTok makers or our own government and why are you speaking out against the one who has less blood on their hands?

That was the intent of our founding fathers. Things at home have a strong local government. The local citizens have more control and are able to hold politicians more accountable. We should be at a point that it shouldn't matter who the president is. If you brought more power to the states to the counties Etc, the President should only be concerned about defending the nation

Tell me you're not one of those champagne socialist. You're complaining about the American government yet you're fine with the communist government doing what they've done for decades to cubans?

I'm not fine with it. Also not my problem. And I'm not ok with us placing an embargo on a broke ass country that is zero threat to us.

No, that's incorrect we know that American Communists will do a better job than any other communist. It's easy being a communist when you live in a rich capitalistic country and you're able to reap the benefits of that country

I don't believe there is a difference. Socialism and communism our cousins
If there is no difference (while being consistent with your simile), wouldn't socialism and communism be identical twins?
