Joe lunardi latest projections has us a 5 seed west region playing Yale … that overall draw would be best case scenario to advance …

I was looking at UVA record. Honestly haven’t seen them play this year, but they racked up a lot of wins vs Miami, VT and Nc st. Duke, UNC and Louisville their only ranked opponents and they went 1-2.

Virginia is very good. They are 12th in the NET, 13th in KenPom, and 8-3 in Quad 1 games. They are very disciplined and Ryan Odom (Dave Odom's son) is a heck of a coach. What's ironic is that he was the head coach at UMBC when they knocked off the Cavaliers as a #16 seed in 2018.

I think we can beat them if we're matched up in the NCAAT, but it will take a much better performance than what we saw yesterday.

Yeah they have a good record and I’m sure play solid, but imo they didn’t play near the schedule we did. I scanned quickly, but from what I saw I think they played 3 games vs ranked teams going 1-2 and I believe we played at least 12. I would imagine if they played 4x ranked teams than they did, they’d have lost several more, and if we woulda played 3 ranked teams all year we would’ve had more wins and fewer losses.
Our competition should give us confidence, assuming we don’t lose to Yale of course.
Only guarantee I have is I haven’t quit on them and I’m not going to post laughing emojis acting like a fan if we lose.

Your carny act seems to be based on making new predictions just as the old ones prove false. Your biggie has always been the 100%, check my receipts, not two ways about it, no matter what prediction that we'll be a 5. You're hanging by a thread on that one. Any thoughts on the Summer El Nino odds?

I know this is a thread about our seed, but watching Yale and Penn is a lot of fun. They play hard, smart and high quality ball with solid fundamentals.
