I didn’t know Vandy women basketball team is ranked #5 in the country. Vandy is leading in the 3rd Qtr 65-58. Vandy girls have put up some made shots that defy logic going in.

If, and it looks like it, Vandy girls win this game it will be only the second time in their history of beating a LVs team at Food City Center. LVs shots are not falling in the 2nd half as Vandy seems to have their way on scoring points in this half. Its 80-67 Vandy with over 3 minutes left in the half.

What's so hilarious is I bet over half the fans watching and complaining doesn't even know who Greg Swindell is or was.

One of the best College baseball pitchers ever in the 1980's for the Texas Longhorns..
I’ll admit I didn’t know he played for the steers, but I did know he had a long MLB career. Granted, I wasn’t complaining though.

I liked his color commentary. I always like to hear the behind the scenes stories. Especially the one where he scheduled a golf tee time because he was a relief pitcher for Randy Johnson. 😆

Both did a really good job.

I just went down a rabbit hole on the 1951 Vols Baseball team. Most of you already know all of this, I would imagine. It's mostly for fans like me who don't yet know all of our baseball history.

If the below is correct, the 1951 uniforms were the basis for a 2022 uniform.

General Neyland (who had a nice year himself in 1951) threw out the first pitch for the Vols baseball opener in the 1951 CWS. This photo is categorized as unknown situation, but it looks to me like Chicago, where the BaseVols stopped en route to Omaha -- and caught a game featuring Mickey Mantle vs Joe DiMaggio.
