I agree...I will feel more relieved when we get our O-line recruits locked down than I will when we get a qb or any other position for that matter

Here is an article today off the Orlando Sentinal-
"10) Jeff Luc (linebacker, Port St. Lucie) The buzz: Some questioned Luc's rapid ascension up the boards, given some of the competition the school faces, he's certainly made a believer out of the coaches that have shown up at Treasure Coast High and seen tape of his 125 tackles and nine sacks last season. Florida, Florida State and Miami are in the hunt (as are USC, LSU, Alabama and Ohio State). And don't rule out Georgia, which took a flyer on Luc's linebacker mate Deon Rogers." Interesting the Orlando Sentinal do not mention the VOLS name. Maybe we steal him from Florida just like Nuke....

They should look at the boy's official visit plans. If they don't include Tennessee in the list considering that he's taking a visit here then they are dumb.

I spoke to him about two weeks ago and asked specifically about official visits and he didn't mention us... He was never quoted in saying he was taking unofficial here I don't think. I wouldn't hold my breath. He's probably FSU bound anyways.

I'm pretty sure he's still coming here. Hubbs and crew seem to think so anyways. He told them he would be back for the Auburn game I think. And in a recent Scout article, he said he would NOT be going on officials to any of the in-state schools. I expect UT, UGA, LSU, and Bama to get officials from him for sure...

I agree. I'd hate for any of our players to have to meet this guy in the middle. Nu'Keese would disintegrate on contact

When the clock strikes 12:00am tonight, I expect Jeff Luc will have an incoming call from Monte Kiffin. He is probably the #1 player on our board right now...

You would have to think that a player (LUC) of his caliber playing with Monte's teaching would really go high in the draft in the NFL. He is probably thinking the same. Man, how about the VOLS "D" with him on board. With Berry possibly gone as the #1 pick in the NFL at the end of this year we could use a big hitter like LUC.

Another Florida player is interested in the VOLS per Scout today. Wow, the news is spreading fast about the VOLS new staff and the freshman starting in the first game of the season around here. Just makes the chances even better that we have a shot at LUC.

OK, last quote of the day for LUC-"Jeff hunts down another quarterback who missed the shotgun snap and wraps him around the neck and plants him into the ground like a mango tree. The lyrics from the Ying Yang Twins grab you by saying HERE WE COME TO GET YOU! “Poor QB should have kicked that ball out of the back of the end zone.” This guy is truly amazing.

I would say the VOLS have as a good as shot at getting LUC vs the other Florida Universities, even if he does give a verbal to another school. The new coaching staff is pretty incredible when it comes down to recruiting. They take the recruiting process all the way till signing day. Look what they did in 2009 with very little time. Doesn't this staff get you pumped up!

Well time is short on Luc because hes enrolling in December. Too much ground to make up with this one and his brother has made it pretty clear on the FSU boards where hes heading.
