Yea I never saw the need to spend money on a 2nd LBer. Especially if you get a stud like Campbell. Even if we play more 3 LB sets instead of 2, we have Campbell, Telander (situational), Spillman, Perlotte, Harmon, Burns, White, and Rouse. Plenty of juice in that room.

He admits probably being too optimistic on Penn State guys but some of those changes in the players plans are just part of this process. He still beleives there will be at least 3-5 former PSU guys here at the end with at least two of those being guys who will have immediate impact on the field.

As far as former OSU guys, I was initially told Aaron Scott was a target but corrected that t day later that he wasn't high on board/interest. Hunter & UT staff very much were interested in West & thought they would have a great shot there but that interest wasn't mutual. I am told that with the DNC tag, UT did what it could to make there interest known but never heard from anyone representing West. This was a surprise to Hunter & Knowles. It appears he only had contact with 3 Big 10 teams and the Wisconsin deal was done very quickly.

I saw there are already reports about the 2 Alabama DL transfers. They do expect to get a visit there, based on some feedback from another coach & Smith's team - Clemson is the early favorite. Miami & Auburn also expected to be involved.

Depending on what happens with Gilliam, Mateen, and Smith UT other possible targets could be Traveon Mitchell (waiver issue & Auburn probably favorite), guy from Jax State whose name I am not going to try to spell, & Darin Conley from Ball Sate

You mentioned Enow Etta and Daniel Harris earlier. Any update there @SoonerAndVol ?

Neyland environment kinda teetering on TBA environment these days. Cheese and wine crowd instead of beers and brats. More about an experience less about the product imo.
