I’d rather us get either the JMU QB or the Old Dominion QB, or even Ty Simpson if he’s reasonable $ to free up more $$$$ for all those top DL guys. Hopefully this explains why all these D guys have visits set up with us while it has been quiet on the QB front.

Ty Simpson gonna be super expensive if he’s in the portal. Would be the most proven QB.

What was the stat last year? Over half of them didn’t find a new home? Meaning they essentially were no longer going to school on athletic scholarship. Maybe players stop taking that for granted, at least all those who aren’t premier Power 4 starters. That would be a silver lining. Free education is still worth something.

Probably go online. College is crazy now. My 3rd son at UT can’t even get in the required basic freshman classes because there are too many students and they say “go online.” He didn’t work for his scholarships and we didn’t pay for dorm and tuition for him to sit in his dorm in front of a computer.

Of those currently in the portal….Sam Leavitt and Tennessee have spoken multiple times in the last 24 hours. I believe there is real optimism for him to visit in next week.

Joey still winning an appeal is on the table and could find out in the next week.
