2026 Midterm Thread

Playing dumb again, I see, trying to bog me down into wasting time defending what you already know, then ignore provided facts. Been there done, and Homie just don't play anymore.
May I ask what is the point of posting a point or your if your not willing to defend or support your point?

UMMM. Here's the reality of TDS.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is an ongoing mental condition where a person (MAGA) has absolute fealirty to Donald Trump that causes them to deny all his dishonesty, obviously criminal conduct he's done. Which causes them to all logic and reason in a paranoid frenzy to maintain some idea of justification to White's right for racism and fascism. The condition is also know cultism.

Thank you, Coy, for reminding us.

Trump’s super PAC enters 2026 with a massive $300 million war chest

MAGA Inc., a super PAC aligned with President Trump, is heading into the 2026 midterms with roughly $300 million in the bank, the group’s latest campaign finance disclosure revealed.

The super PAC raised over $102 million between July 1, 2025 and Dec. 22, 2025, adding to $196 million in cash on hand it reported at the beginning of the period, the document filed with the Federal Election Commission on Thursday showed.

In total, MAGA Inc. reported more than $294 million in its stockpile.

A spokesperson for the organization said it ended the year with a $304.3 million war chest, and plans to use the money to back candidates who support Trump’s agenda.

Recent Maintenance Activities
  • Mass Removals (2023–2024): Between January 2023 and August 2024, North Carolina election officials removed approximately 747,000 ineligible records from the voter rolls.
  • Biennial Cleanup (2025): In early 2025, county boards removed an additional 499,000 records. This included roughly 420,000 "inactive" registrations belonging to individuals who had not voted or contacted election officials for at least eight years.
  • "Registration Repair Project" (2025): Launched in July 2025, this initiative targets approximately 103,000 voters whose records are missing required identification numbers (Driver’s License or the last four digits of a Social Security number).

Reasons for Removal
Most removals are part of routine state and federal list maintenance:
  • Relocation: The most common reason, occurring when a voter moves within the state (creating a duplicate) or moves out of state.
  • Inactivity: Voters who remain "inactive" for two consecutive federal general elections without responding to official confirmation mailings.
  • Deceased: Systematic removal of records for deceased individuals.
  • Felony Convictions: Removal of individuals currently serving a felony sentence.
  • Non-Citizenship: A 2024 state law now requires the board to use jury excusal data to identify and remove non-citizens

ALL voter rolls should be wiped after a presidential election. If voting is important enough, you can get your ass to a polling place and register for the next election.

Sounds like a good idea. But, Texas and I think Georgia and maybe others have restricted poll to one per county or some such poop. Your idea would result in 30% or less of the eligible population voting.

You don't get it. If you are eligible, and you don't care enough to get your ass down to register, it is YOUR fault and YOUR loss. This knife can cut both ways too before you accuse me of any bias here. Start with a clean slate every 4 years starting the day after the presidential election.
