Noted. But I’m a stubborn old man who’s been watching ball for a long time and watch weekly film with friends who are former NFL players, including SB champs, so when I see somebody state a bad opinion as fact and NOT debatable, I can’t help it.

I just keep hoping I'm not left disappointed by what we do in the portal again. Last year, it was obvious we didn't address all of our needs. This season bore that out. Don't want to go through that again. Get a QB and fix the defense. Please let that actually happen.

In the transfer portal, Tennessee continues to look into Brendan Sorsby from Cincinnati. He is in town for Christmas before he heads to the Bearcat bowl game. Texas Tech continues to be a major player there for him. We believe he would listen to Tennessee but how big does Tennessee want to swing here? If it’s not him, we aren’t sure where they would turn next. Josh Hoover is a name we think might have some interest coming from the agent side of things but he is linked to a few different schools as well.

Tennessee wants to add a running back with Peyton Lewis off to the portal. North Carolina State’s Hollywood Smothers, UConn’s Cam Edwards and Jacksonville State’s Cam Cook are all names we have heard Tennessee is looking into after announcing their intentions to hit the portal.

Also, I really don't know but I do know Texas Tech will dig deep into those pockets to get who they want, it's proven from last season portal. Saying this I don't think Tennessee wins a bidding battle vs Texas Tech for Sorsby so the X factor could be his family living in Tennessee... As far as Hoover goes I've read continuously that if Indiana wants him he will go there, it all depends on whether Cignetti believes in Fernando's little brother taking over at QB next season.

Last yr everyone could see they werent even trying to fill all the open holes the roster had and this yr its completely diff

Really has to be or next yr would likely be a big disaster.
