Don't take that post too seriously. It was mostly tongue-in-cheek. But to your point, you and I aren't of that generation. It is one, in many cases, that absolutely cares what people think. It's why they post every conscious thought on social media to begin with.

It is, but they don't care. B1G is full of holier-than-thou athletics departments. Hell, they have their official beat writers claiming Tennessee & Mama Bey "conspired" to forge a signature and trap this kid with illegal money laundering.

Cut him loose but that university and their fans need karmic justice sometime soon.

As silly as it sounds, yes they absolutely do. Most recent examples that stand out: vol twitter blocking the schiano hire, and DWA committing to us because we gave him the most followers on twitter. Wild stuff

The poster mentioned making him give it a year. I wouldn’t let him near. As far as not releasing, imo it depends on how it all went down and the communication Heupel had with him. I say release and be done and look good with everybody for doing the right thing.
If they did already take money, sue them and get it back forcing them to pay an attorney or make it part of the release.

let’s just stop recruiting Texas maybe. Call me a texist if needed. What has Tx done for us in return for allowing them to live? I’m trying to think of Tx hs recruits who panned out for us the last 30 years. Seems we’ve been left at the altar more than we’ve had recruits pan out.

I don’t think it a question of IF but When on the release. If accounts are close Coach is not going to cost Mom and family a dime.

When due diligence on reversing all LOI, financial paperwork, NIL, etc, is complete a review of best timing will then rule the day.

Can he or Mom do anything before day 1 of NSD now anyway? Birthday be damned. So, what’s the rush? Sit back and watch!

No one has answered my question about what if we waited till just before the season or executed it now with an effective date after NSD.
