Man brutal. Sorry to hear. Lost a buddy who was 35 a few years ago and another on thanksgiving who was 41 to cancer. Life is short. Enjoy every second.

I spoke with Ryan Walters this morning this morning and he told me the same thing that he told the media later in the day and that he has had no contact with Josh Heupel and Tennessee. I’ve spoken to more people tonight that backed up that claim. So where does the Walters smoke come from? I wish I knew but I do think Heupel is looking at several candidates including Walters. I spoke to someone this evening who told me the hope is to have someone in place before the weekend but obviously that isn’t a hard timeline. Could they still tab Walters and announce him before the weekend? Sure but that doesn’t make sense to me. Heupel has a small circle on this so things continue to be muddied in terms of what’s real and what’s not.
