Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I know this is changing the discussion some, but there was radio mention this morning about if JA would hit the portal again or stay with us (obviously staying would be the most logical option). I didn't realize Joey could come back and what does that do with George and Faizon (I realize he will need a year to learn offense). I love Joey, but doesn't that kind of screw GM over a bit having to wait another year and knowing FB is pushing to play year 2?

At the end of the day, I want to win with best available option no matter the player's name. Just curious for those that are better equipped to speculate than me.
Its not certain that Joey can come back right now. He has joined the Pavia lawsuit seeking another year.

Yeah, Norwoods is solid. Though they cook in peanut oil, the treehouse👀 Same for JB's. Talk about Cigar City on tap.

May fave memory if JB's, other than my oldest catching her first mangrove. Was rolling up next to a fully wrapped competition red fishing boat with a stocked cooler, everyone slotted out.

They asked Dave Robinette (guide) secret. Guide looked at them, and gutturally added 'pigfish, get up at 5 AM everyday.'
Don't know if you've tried it but about an hour south is a place called Dixie Crossroads. Man it's so good. They start you out with these little corn fritters, covered in powdered sugar. Then their specialty - rock shrimp. Broiled, served with melted butter. Taste like little lobster tails. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Also, we used to love the New Smyrna Beach Steakhouse. It's something else now but it was always a good alternative to seafood.
Pj's was good for a while. The kids used to love that place because they gave them a frisby as a dinner plate. Gone now too.1000024459.jpg1000024462.jpg

Also, thanks to everyone for the encouragement and advice. Will definitely read these to my wife because I think they'll really help her. They've certainly helped me today.

I'm going to be honest, this is the real reason I stay on this app.
This may seem random, but our family has benefitted from going to a functional medicine doc. Changing what we eat and making sure we are taking the right vitamins and minerals, has helped an array of issues.

For old man me, I don’t have achy joints or sinus issues anymore - also snore MUCH LESS.

For my kids, it’s helped with skin issues, stress and anxiety, and even got rid of night terrors for our youngest son.

Might be something to explore. We’ve done it as a family, and that has also helped with food restrictions so no one feels singled-out.

I gotta agree the rock shrimp are phenomenal.

My favorite is Boondocks in Ponce Inlet. Best Spicy Steamed Shrimp around.

Can confirm. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited.

Never been to Boondocks. Inlet Harbor was our go to. They had the Voodoo shrimp which was good.
Inlet Harbor is now Off the Hook. There is one in NSB now as well. It's ok. A little pricey for what they are, but at least the food is pretty good.

Down the Hatch used to be one of my favorites, but they got bought out last year. It's just not quite the same anymore.

I'm very interested to see how Tennessee reacts with QBs in the portal/offseason. We're not going to know about Joey's eligibility prior to the portal opening, so what's the move? I hope they don't rely solely on a dice roll that Joey gets an extra year.
