Signs point to banks returning. Kinda late in the cycle for him to land somewhere

Brother, trust me I am in 100% agreement with you. I don’t think we are firing him. The fact he wasn’t sent home packing after Vandy tells me all I need to know but would love to be wrong.

It will be an outside hire

Well.....if your history is any indication then I guess we should buckle up for Inge as our new DC.

Also, thanks to everyone for the encouragement and advice. Will definitely read these to my wife because I think they'll really help her. They've certainly helped me today.

I'm going to be honest, this is the real reason I stay on this app.
I know this will get buried in the Tim Banks news, but…

I have two daughters - 19 and 13. Ones in college and the younger is in 7th grade. Parenting can be downright tough sometimes. My wife and I avoided the terrible twos with both girls but my oldest was a challenge in her mid teens.

It can all feel like a roller coaster sometimes. But, when I get an unsolicited hug from either daughter, I really can’t think of much else in this life that surpasses that! It’s all worth it.

Hang in there! It will get better! (And then worse, and then better again…😂)

Here are the names:

Colin Hitschler (James Madison)

Corey Batoon (Missouri)

Nick Benedetto (Fresno State)

Doug Belk (USC DB)

Chris O’Leary (Western Michigan)

Jim Knowles (Penn State)

Will Muschamp (Georgia Analyst)

Jerod Mayo

Ryan Walters (Washington)

Jim Knowles would be a helluva hire.

Muschamp or Knowles please

Heupel is probably more annoyed than any of us with Banks.

You can say what you want about the offensive struggles, but the offense was a top 5 unit nationally all year and we are headed to the Music City Bowl. That tells you all you need to know really.

A better kicker and a decent defense would have gotten this team to the playoffs.
