The expectation when Inge was brought in was that he would be promoted when Banks left for greener pastures. Hasn't exactly broken like that. Just a guess. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw Co-DCs.

Bc every season is different.

Just like last season the defense was elite and the offense mediocre. This season the defense sucked and offense was elite.

True, but there was a primary reason, easily identifiable, for the offensive mediocrity last year. (And irrespective of the why/how - it was addressed, and corrected)

The deficiencies with the defense were myriad, and many pointed directly at coaching. Now let’s do the same - address, and correct it, and not simply hope and guess that it gets better.

Honest question: how has he been historically? One year won’t cut it for me. Banks had one incredible year and now look where we’re at.

However, I would love to poach someone from Dorkowitz’s staff. And if we do, Heupel should post a pic of him signing a contract with the quote, “we settle on business” and nothing else.

"We are mystified by the actions of the conference." What actions? Not forcing their refs to call a biased game to let Virginia beat Duke so UVA and Notre Dame would get in over JMU and Miami?

It was clear the committee was going to put an ACC team in. If UVA won it would have been the Wahoos. But the committee did a good job painting it as a H2H comparison between Miami and ND.

Perhaps if Notre Dame were an actual member of the ACC Conference, then the ACC Conference would give a damn about them.

Where are you and Tim Banks going?

No flippin sh!t. I don't care how good a coach is if he doesn't have the horses he aint gonna win. Show me a coach that has good defense with scrubs. Most fans put too much credit\blame on coaching. Jimmies and Joes.

Indiana has a defense made up with what you would of called scrubs coming out of high school.

So Evaluating and developing is part of coaching, so no we don’t put too much on coaches. It’s the job. Some do it a lot better than others.
