I looked Jancek up and his first two years were worse than Banks 22-24. His last season he allowed 20.7 ppg which was better than 22, slightly better than 23 at 20.9 to 20.7 but worse than 24. I find it interesting looking at the difference in perspectives.

Have to also factor in talent level. Jancek had significantly less talent and depth as Banks.

LT is where the money is at, so I understand the desire, but damn, maybe Sanders should learn to play RT first. If he makes the proper read in the OU game that strip sack doesn't happen. Kid has tons of potential, but he still needs to develop it. One more season of RT before moving to LT would not hurt. But kids are going to chase the money, and money is at LT.

So out of the hundreds of snaps he logged as a true freshman only one play stands out? Yes it was a critical mistake but all things considered he was as advertised. He was brought in with the understanding he’d be the LT in 2026 and beyond and that hasn’t changed IMO. Heard IMO is a RT at the next level and needs to do what Darnell Wright did and make the switch. If he doesn’t then Sanders will be the LT and Perry will be the RT (his best position).
