What curt is doing at Indiana is incredible and may never be done again (assuming it’s not a fluke). The guys legit and it’s crazy he didn’t climb the ranks for a major coaching job until mid 60’s

And he’s doing it with 2 young coordinators he brought from James Madison that never had big jobs before this either

Amazing what happens when your staff can actually coach your players. Tim Banks could never.

Guy has the same plan for every opponent no matter what yr it is or if its Bama or Alabama State. Doesn’t recruit, cant coach. Why is he even here?

Always thought if they turned the SEC championship game into a “play in game” for teams 4 and 5 (or something similar) it would maintain its view count while making everyone involved actually glad to be there.

Just have a regular season champ.
Why not do both

Championship games decide the AQ, while you have play in games the same weekend as the CG games. You could expand playoff and keep everyone happy.

The CG games would have to be changed to the Highest 2 w-l from each conference non of this ACC DIVISION mess we have this morning

There's already no benefit to playing in a c'ship game.

Bama and UGA could wind up playing 3 times this season.

how many times do teams need to play each other before we figure out which one is better?

IU and OSU, ND Miami, ND aTm...OR IU...OM UGA....

These are all games that have been played and might get replayed.

There's no benefit to playing an extra c'ship game. There might be a consequence of you lose it thought... And there's no consequence to losing a big regular season game. Very little consequence to a bad loss, if you have the right brand name...

The acc commissioner has to be pulling his hair out this morning.

And the committee has to go. And so does the automatic qualifers. I'm sorry.. But James Madison isn't one of the top 12 or even 16 teams. Here's who should be in
IU
UGA
OSU
TTU

OM
ORE
aTm
OU

MIA
BAMA
ND
VANDY
With UGA and Bama, once more? They split

But Alabama gonna get favorable treatment because they’re Alabama
They didn't get it last year and got left out, as they whined and whined.

Now I do feel they'll get in this year, for the committee to stay consistent with not punishing CC games...but the shine is off of Alabama. They haven't been given leniency on or off the field like under Saban.

Also curious (if anyone keeps up) - is Saban still creeping around the facilities week after week like was reported to do last year? Wonder if he's moved on yet.

He appears to be incredible.
Critical distinction.

Lots of coaches have short bursts. He just won a conference championship. Interested to see how it goes next 3-4 years. Some can maintain, many don't (Campbell, Sanders, Butch(?), Frost at UCF, etc).

Turning around a program is a great skill. But maintaining determines legacies.

I agree. That’s why I said “appears to be”.

But I was being sincere. Based on what we’ve seen so far, he appears to really be something.
