What a show. If you knew you weren’t going to report to camp then you should let teams know. Now the Bills have lost a valuable roster spot because they in turn had to waive a player of their own.

Automatic qualifiers should go away entirely, switch to using the BCS for the rankings and whatever the top 16 teams are get an invite. It shouldn’t matter if you win a conference championship. The BCS wasn’t a big problem, it’s that you only allowed 2 teams to play for a national championship whenever there are well over 100 division 1 football programs. The math just never added up.
