Also, they signed Shavar Young from Knoxville. He was a high 4 star CB a year ago that we didn't prioritize and tons of people took exception to that on this forum. He plummetted in the rankings.

Same with Leo Delaney who signed with them. Another junior season 4 star that everyone wanted, but his ratings fell and he's a 3 star now.

He got the bowl start at the end of his true freshman year. Which was the 2023 season..and he was in the 2023 signing class. Which signed the offseason before the 2023 season.

I tripped over myself with the semantics. Thanks for clarifying. I was thinking about the GMAC situation which is similar except Milton had had a career where JA has just had a season & may be back but it's not a sure thing.

Edit: Plus Merk has been in the rotation.

Dabo is old school, and he vowed never to use the portal. Once he saw his job on the line, he woke up a little bit, but I bet he hates every minute of coaching right now. I'm surprised he hasn't bailed already. The college game has passed him by

As long as ND has their own TV contract with NBC, they don't need a conference. They pocket every penny of the contract and don't have to share it with anyone. My thinking is that they will be in the National Champion hunt going forward almost every year

Ok, if that is the case is still it is not like Banks went from genius to moron in one year. He proves the Jimmies and Joes postulate. And you never fire just to fire, you have to have a replacement. who we replacing Banks with? Duh Jim Knowles.
