This is a problem for JH and the staff

Yes. When was the last time you saw Josh Heupel chew a player out for missing an assignment or committing a bone-headed penalty? I can’t recall a single time. This team does not play disciplined, fundamentally sound football and that goes back to coaching and practice.
Never does it. That's why he will never win any kind of championship. He's too soft to the players. They know it too.

So, did you feel the same way when Nick Saban kept giving players "second chances" or all the times Kirby Smart has allowed players to hang around after all their legal issues?
This is in no way the same. The players run all over Heup. You can be disciplined and given another chance, it’s better than not being disciplined at all about anything on the field and that’s what Heup is doing.

Can you provide evidence of players running all over Heup or is that just more conjecture?

That’s obviously one of them. He gives off an aura of “I’m a slob.” The worst is that gum chomping during an interview.

If I didn’t know and was in a room with Josh, I’d never guess his was HC of a major program.

There are some great motivational coaches out ther. Heupel is not one. He needs to get someone on his staff who is and who will light up players asses (and his).
He had one of those in the beginning and now he's the HC at Auburn...that's why things have not gotten any better or regressed since.

Look at the discipline on the field man. Look at what Aguilar said as well about practices. I know it’s not what you wanna hear and you wanna be a contrarian, but it is what it is.
What I gathered about Aguilar's comments was that they were directed more toward the intensity the players consistently bring to practice. I'm as disappointed as everyone else about the losses we had this season, particularly the Vandy loss. I just think think people are going way overboard in their criticisms of the team and staff as a result of disappointment and frustration. Are there issues with things like clock management at times, penalties, etc? Without a doubt, and those need to be corrected in order for us to take the next step. That does not equate to Heupel leading a team with a complete lack of any discipline in which his players run all over him, though. If that were the case, we would not have seen anywhere near the level of success we have over the last few years.

I think JA's post-game comments said a lot. A lot about the root cause of UT's issues this year.

If the players aren't bringing the intensity, then that's on the staff. There are ways to fix that.

Or you run into what is known as a "cascading casualty". The leaking valve eventually leaks worse; overcomes the bilge pump; gets into a switchboard, and now you have a leak that became minor flooding that is now a major fire.

We already had our dumpster fire(s). I'd prefer to avoid another one. Fix the damn leak.

Go Vols.

yall being obsessed with his weight while Tennessee has the highest obesity rate for kids is hilarious. Yall got a bunch of fat kids and family members but focused on another man is so comical.
I have no problem with his weight, many people are overweight. But I do have a problem with his appearance. Very selddom clean shaved. Either grow a beard or shave one or the other. A person can be overweight and still dress neat.

The week leading up to Arkansas game I was listening to Knox radio and to the best of my recollection it was The Swain show.He had VFL Kevin Simon on and the discussion was about what the Arky running back said about our defense. The topic came up about wrapping up when tackling and he (Simon) said CRG is the only one who coaches players to wrap up in practice and went on to say other coaches may correct a player during a game for shoulder bumping.Take it for what it’s worth but that running back ate against us.

That’s true. Tennessee is one one of that fattest states. I’ve always been raised to worry about those who affect you directly. How does Heupels appearance affect you personally is what I want to ask you?

To me it is not a good represenative of a hc at Ut. not a good look. It does not affect me personally.

I was at the game and I watched Clark Lea chew a refs ass for 55 minutes. The entire Vandy sideline was rabid. Staff, players, trainers were all ready for a fist fight. The UT side had little to no life, no bark, no hype, just one foot in front of the other.

There’s the problem
Chewing the refs ass too much can be counter productive
