It might cost me a $38 million buy-out but if I were Danny, my message to Josh…
1. Add some discipline in your personal life. Stop looking like a slob. Lose weight. Shave. Hit the weights. Look like a head coach on the sideline.
2. Run every rep, every snap during practice with discipline. If you need a retired SEAL to help teach discipline, I’ll hire you one.
3. Hire a new DC and hand him the reigns. I will ensure you have the resources for him to be successful.
Danny White seems to rack and stack the sports based on ROI, as he should given he's effectively the UT Athletic Department's CEO. As a result, he surely has to see that being the most mediocre team in a very down SEC this season is a major problem given how much money is being thrown at success on multiple fronts.
I know. If only I could be Despot Danny for a day. Someone needs to tell Josh. Geez, smacking gum and looking like a slouch at the presser is embarrassing. He’s a terrible representative of TN. Doesn’t have to be that way.Lol a navy seal. I can hear Sean Strickland calling out our newly appointed "Discipline Coach" just like he did David Goggins. BTW none of the 3 items listed above have a CIH of happening.
Thinking a middle aged guy like Heupel is going to suddenly change is delusional. He isn’t going to change anything. He may fire a couple of people but this is the coach we have - he ain’t gonna do a makeover and hit the gym. I laughed my ass off reading that. Look around the league and you can see what’s happened to teams that think after a few years that their mediocre coach is going to turn things around. We better have heupel on alert that any less than an 7 win season next year will be curtains. With GA Tech and two SEC road games to kick off the season, we drop two of those and Danny Boy better get on the phone.I know. If only I could be Despot Danny for a day. Someone needs to tell Josh. Calling the SEC down may be the dumbest thing that’s been said tonight
Our first three games next year are vs Furman, @ Georgia Tech, and vs Kennesaw State. SEC game dates won’t be announced for a couple more weeks.Thinking a middle aged guy like Heupel is going to suddenly change is delusional. He isn’t going to change anything. How about no spy on Pavia? That was my final straw.Getting blown out by Vandy at home should NEVER be acceptable, even in a "rebuilding year." I don't care how good Vandy is, there is no reason, other than coaching that their entire defense is better than ours, or that their O-line is better. I don't want to hear about the CB injuries, that's not even the biggest issue, they are just running down our throats, and Tim Bank keeps blitzing LB's like an idiot.
Look, we all know Vandy does not have the talent we have, so you have to blame coaching. I got flamed when I made my post about Josh after the Oklahoma loss, maybe now you see what I'm talking about. Look, if Coaching changes are not made, if he does not raid the transfer portal for players on D, Josh needs to be fired. Stop telling me there are no serious coaching problems, a program like Tennessee should NEVER EVER get blown out at HOME by Vandy.
Did anyone on the staff call a defense that made sense? See any QB spy? Timely corner blitz?Did anyone on the coaching staff get an ill timed offensive pass interference call or drop a sure td in the 3rd quarter that would have made the score within 7 points?
Did anyone on the coaching staff overpersue the legs of Pavia?
I'll hang up and listen

Twice as many SEC schools will be bowl ineligible this season compared to last season. The brass of the conference did a good job of beating up on the dregs, which will help get more teams into the playoff than last year, but this is hardly a strong conference top to bottom.
